I've only been home about a week since my trip to Europe but I'm ready to start sharing photos from my trip! I took about 2400 photos. I showed my family about 300 of them and that took an hour and a half. Anyway, I spent a couple weeks in Italy, a few days in southern France, a couple weeks in Spain and a few days in Portugal. The trip could hardly have gone better. It only rained on me a few days and train trouble and late opening times caused me to rush through a couple sites but that's about all the trouble I had. Overall, the trip was very inspirational and has given me plenty of ideas to work with in my creative journey.

I plan to use it for dimly lit interiors where flash isn't allowed and landscape shots. Another lens is on the way. It is a Canon

My last journal post was titled "Water Everywhere" but that would make a good title for this post too because our city has been flooded with water! I got up later than usual this morning and it was storming outside. I figured I would work at home for the morning and let my dog Buddy outside to go potty when it stopped raining. I read on Facebook that a friend's basement got flooded. I checked my house after reading that and found a few feet of wet carpet in my art studio. I got the dehumidifier in there now. I also read that some streets were flooded but I had no idea how bad it was until I headed to work. Just down the street, someone's hou
